If you mainly need to free up storage, a subscription adds up: at its yearly price it costs several times more than a one-time tool over a few years. Tidy Mac explains System Data and cleans it safely for $9.99 once. The steps 1. Decide whether you need malware scanning and app updates, or only storage cleanup. 2. Compare the yearly subscription with one-time alternatives over three years. 3. To cancel, use the store you bought it from (MacPaw account, Setapp or the App Store). ## Is CleanMyMac safe? Yes. MacPaw is an established developer, the app is notarised by Apple, and its cleanup is reviewable before it runs. Like any cleaner, read what it will remove before you click. ## Is it worth the money?
